Choose a team season, or Create season using a team-wide roster-management permission. An empty season is linked to this team and sport without copying or replacing old data. Add a new athlete or reuse an athlete already attached to this team, including from another season. No global private-athlete directory is exposed.

Create/edit first and last name for a new/team-owned unshared profile; maintain jersey/bib number, position/role, class year, display order, captain, starter and active/inactive status on the season roster. Shared athlete names are read-only here. Player and roster versions protect stale updates. Inactivating affects only this season's roster entry; it does not delete the athlete, other seasons or statistics. Billing, guardian access, medical/contact data and shared profile identity administration remain in Hub.
