Audio-to-NDI: Installation and access
Operational reference for installation and access in Audio-to-NDI.
Installation and access
- Linux: extract the complete application ZIP and run
./install-linux.shas the desktop user. Debian/Ubuntu installer installs Python venv, PortAudio and the app's Python packages. Other distributions need Python with Tk/venv/pip, PortAudio and Chromium/Chrome installed first. - macOS 13+: Python 3.11+ with Tk and Chrome/Chromium are required. Run
install-macos.command, then launch from Finder. Allow microphone and local network access for the app or Python/Terminal host when prompted. Uselaunch-macos.commandfor diagnostics. See MACOS.md. - On macOS, install the official NDI runtime separately; Linux setup installs and verifies the sender runtime and discovery; no proprietary SDK/runtime is redistributed in this ZIP. Shared NDI runtime already installed for Production Truck may be reused.
NDI_RUNTIME_DIR_V6/NDI_RUNTIME_DIR_V5can identify a nonstandard runtime folder. - Deploy Sports Hub 1.0.30+ and enable Audio-to-NDI on the subscriber or managed team/league/tournament/organization/facility plan. Connect Account & downloads in Workstation 1.0.15+ or sign into this app's Account panel. App access is independent of Production Truck and the local station administrator PIN.
