Single Camera Kiosk: Customer workflow
Operational reference for customer workflow in Single Camera Kiosk.
Customer workflow
- Sign in and choose your event: enter your Sports Hub email and password. Review your subscription options and select an authorized event. Events outside your camera entitlement or without live video are disabled. Use More events/Previous events to browse.
- Station camera: tap Prepare station camera to use the installed camera. Connection changes require the operator PIN. The camera is prepared automatically for the selected event; confirm its picture and sound.
- Start your event: review the actual preview and listen to the selected audio, confirm readiness, then Start event. This configures the event destination and launches streaming without opening OBS settings. Sound controls adjust the selected source/microphone.
For scheduled start, confirm readiness and press Arm scheduled start. The local kiosk must remain powered on and connected. It waits until the event time, revalidates account authorization and event publishing configuration, then starts once. Changed configuration, revoked pairing, lost/stale engine connection, a missed start (over five minutes), controller restart or a changed program scene prevents automatic startup. Disarm cancels without starting. A computer clock synchronized to actual time is necessary; use the operating system's time synchronization.
End live stream asks for confirmation and stops the OBS output. Ending remains available even if Hub pairing is revoked or the Hub is unreachable. Closing the controller alone preserves an already running OBS stream; use End live stream or OBS to stop output.
