Finding events in large catalogs

Deploy Sports Hub v3049 and kiosk v3049 together. No database migration is needed for the event-browser API changes. The customer’s Find your event button opens a large event browser. It defaults to upcoming/live events, ordered soonest first. Search event, team or venue names across the entire authorized catalog; choose Today, Specific date or All dates, filter sport, or show video-enabled events only. Results arrive in bounded pages of 20. Cards show date/time, sport, venue, status and the reason an event cannot be selected. Dates use the kiosk’s local timezone; the server date filters use the Sports Hub Indianapolis timezone.

Select a card and confirm Use this event before proceeding to camera readiness. Page/search changes clear a pending selection. Background refresh keeps the current page and filters. Sign-out clears the search and selected event. The API continues to restrict results to manageable events and checks edit permission and subscription access. Event selection and publishing authorization remain checked on the server. Older Sports Hub catalogs show a required-update message and disable unsupported search filters.
