Install or update Workstation
Deploy the intended Hub and run its migrations first. The golf apps require Hub 0.0.3142 or newer; Race Course Designer requires Hub 0.0.3146 or newer. Each app is enabled separately under Site Admin Studio > Plans > Application access included. Staff/event/record permissions remain separate from the subscription entitlement.
Extract this ZIP and run as the signed-in Linux desktop user:
bash ./install-linux.shOmit startup options to retain the current choice. --disable-autostart disables Workstation on reboot; --autostart explicitly enables desktop-session startup and backs up old per-app startup entries. Existing PIN, assignment, connection and customer data live outside code and are retained. Workstation updates itself through this full installer; its panels maintain the other apps.
Requires Python 3.10+, Tk, a terminal and libX11 on X11 or a compatible Wayland/XWayland desktop. Managed browsers use the bundled XWayland adapter on Wayland. No wmctrl/xdotool is executed. Desktop auto-login, OS shortcuts, console restrictions and power/display policy are separate system settings.
