Scorekeeper: Install and launch
Operational reference for install and launch in Scorekeeper.
Install and launch
Install Python 3.10+ and Chrome/Chromium. No Python packages or OBS are required.
- Desktop:
python3 app.py(Windows:py -3 app.py; Mac:./launch.command). - Linux portable kiosk:
./launch-kiosk.sh. - Linux installed kiosk/autostart:
python3 linux_kiosk_setup.py install --autostart. - Optional:
--browser /path/to/chromium,--port 8882,--data-dir /private/path. - Headless engineering:
python3 app.py --no-browser, then open the printed localhost setup URL. Browser-launch controls are unavailable in this mode.
The first launch opens setup. Save https://www.gameaction360.com (or your Hub's HTTPS origin), open the scorekeeper, sign in with the usual operator account, and choose an authorized event. Subsequent launches open the event picker automatically; Resume reopens the last permitted event. The workstation route is /scoring/station. Admin navigation: Manage → People & competition → Scorekeeper Workstation. The event picker also contains the standalone download.
Use Workstation setup in the station header to return to local configuration, including desktop/full-screen mode selection. Choose event, Refresh state, Sports Hub and Sign out remain visible in the compact station header. No main Hub navigation or legacy sidebar surrounds the station scorekeeper. Existing Hub scoring pages outside this station retain their regular layout. Leave with Sports Hub to clear station mode.
