Official Review: synchronize angles, mark moments and preserve a review
Import camera clips or use replay buffers, align footage and export annotated review material.
Choose the footage source
Use configured OBS/Source Record replay buffers for recent live camera footage, or import finalized camera clips from the same action. Configure the actual source list and enough replay history before starting capture. Multiple cameras add encoding, memory and storage load; test the real station's capacity.
Load and align
- Start capture or select finalized clips. Use recordings that contain an overlapping moment.
- Load the desired review window. Confirm each camera name and picture.
- Align the same visible event across angles using offsets. Arrival clocks and replay saves can contain latency; verify alignment before interpreting fine timing.
- Use the shared playhead, frame-step and speed controls. Enlarge a camera without losing the other angles.
- For dance, instruction or rehearsal, use clear clip and review names rather than sports-specific incident labels.
Mark and annotate
Pause or position the shared playhead at the moment, enter a marker label and notes, then Add marker. Select its timestamp to return to that point. Remove markers that no longer belong in the review. Markers describe the loaded review; stale requests for a different review are rejected.
Preserve the work
Save review exports the camera files, timing adjustments, playhead, notes and markers together. Verify the downloaded ZIP and keep a backup if the material is important. Temporary review workspace is not a permanent archive; save before clearing it. Synchronized playback supports review but does not certify a decision or eliminate camera-frame/latency uncertainty.
