Create a speaker title, announcement or sports overlay
Browse 48 modern event layouts in four themes, customize editable layers and export for Production Truck.
Browse the modern event library
Open Overlay Builder and choose Browse event designs. Search or filter 48 layouts across eight collections, then choose one of four coordinated themes and inspect its actual preview. Transparent overlays and full-screen slates are labeled separately. Select a card to load it, confirming unsaved changes when asked. Every text and shape remains editable. Sports starter graphics remain in their expandable palette section. Select the appropriate event category. Speaker title, Announcement, Session title and Service text support general productions; sports templates remain available. Use sponsor graphics for a partner message. A template is editable artwork, not an automatically populated production.
Design and check
- Select a layer and edit text, position, dimensions, color and alignment. Add the correct organization logo where needed.
- Keep important text inside safe margins and test long names at the final output size.
- Choose the intended canvas resolution and preview the graphic. Use adequate text/background contrast and avoid covering important action.
- Save the project so it can be revised. Undo and layer ordering help recover ordinary edits; they are not a substitute for a saved project.
- If mapping live data, choose actual payload fields, use a sample and define fallbacks. Inspect missing/stale data behavior before putting the graphic on air.
Export and operate
Export for Production Truck, extract the export ZIP and import its supported graphic manifest through Production Truck's Overlays workflow. Verify it in the correct scene and test visibility/preload behavior. The project export and browser output are different files; use the import format expected by the destination.
Common mistakes
Changing a saved project does not necessarily refresh an already-exported production asset; re-export/re-import as required. Avoid putting credentials in artwork or public data feeds. If a graphic looks wrong, check canvas size, text length, layer visibility and the actual output, not only the editor preview.
