Start a mapping survey
After loading a course or creating a draft, connect GPS and test the camera. In Map the course, stand at the start and select Start mapping + video. No pre-existing start marker is required. The start is saved using a fresh GPS fix when video progress begins. Stay still until the start is confirmed. If GPS becomes stale during camera startup, video remains running and you can mark the start manually after GPS recovers. The separate video recording button still supports recording individual sections.
