Team Administration: Games, matches and other events
Operational reference for games, matches and other events in Team Administration.
Games, matches and other events
Create an event in the selected team's sport/season. Choose game, match, meet, race or other; home/away; an optional opponent from the same sport; and a searched Hub venue or location name. Set name, explicit start/end and status. New events start with streaming disabled. Edit names, times, venue/location, event type and scheduled/postponed/canceled status. Existing participants, sport, league/tournament links, scoring and broadcast configuration are retained; change participants through Hub event management. Shared cross-country competitions, live/completed games and Director-linked schedules are review-only here.
Team games/practices and known venue event bookings are checked for overlaps. Existing events without recorded ends reserve an estimated two hours, labeled in the editor. Practice locations are text, not facility bookings; only team practice overlap is checked. Dates/times use the computer timezone; calendar filtering passes the IANA timezone and saves use explicit UTC times. Skipped daylight-saving times are rejected. A separate scorer handles live results. Scheduling is not a global booking lock across all Hub tools; review concurrent external edits.
