Scorekeeper: Event-day operation
Operational reference for event-day operation in Scorekeeper.
Event-day operation
The event picker paginates authorized events and filters sport, name, status and date. It defaults to yesterday through the next week and prioritizes live events. Access is checked again when opening an event and by the existing scoring controllers for each action. Content-only memberships do not grant scoring access.
Supported existing event scorekeepers: baseball, softball, basketball, American football, flag football, soccer, hockey, volleyball and cross country. The app retains the Hub's sport rules, lineups, statistics, clocks, undo, corrections and action history. It does not replace those engines with a simplified local score model. Golf round scorecards remain in the separate golf workspace.
The Hub is authoritative and requires an active connection. When the station health check fails or the browser detects an outage, scoring forms pause. After reconnection, Refresh state retrieves the current game before scoring resumes. If a submission was interrupted, inspect the action log before retrying: it may already have succeeded. No local score queue, automatic replay of commands, offline scoring database or timing guarantee is provided. Closing the workstation does not end the game or stop a Hub game clock.
