Race Cameras: LAN launch commands
Operational reference for lan launch commands in Race Cameras.
LAN launch commands
Station:
python3 camera_station.py --station-id finish-camera-station --bind 0.0.0.0 --port 8877 --cert station.crt --key station.key --open-browser
Central timing receiver (on the timing computer):
python3 zebra_timing.py --config race_config.json --db race_timing.sqlite3 serve --bind 0.0.0.0 --port 8765 --cert central.crt --key central.key
Use hostnames/IPs matching the certificates. Trust both certificates on the opposite computer; a private CA bundle can be selected with Python’s SSL_CERT_FILE environment variable before launching. HTTP is accepted only for localhost testing, not cross-machine control. Open the documented TCP control ports and the media ports your camera feeds use. Source IPs, NDI discovery and listener bind addresses refer to the camera station, not the central timing machine. The GUI’s Central receiver address must be reachable from the station.
