Launchers now start app.py through the application-owned .venv, creating it if needed. The app checks websockets 16 before loading production code, installs requirements.txt if missing, and stops with exit 78 and a setup message if dependency installation fails. The supervisor does not repeat that setup failure. Dependency installation needs package repository access; do this while off air. Existing correctly installed environments do not download dependencies again.
On Ubuntu run sh install-linux.sh for the complete per-user workstation setup. To repair an existing folder manually: python3 -m venv .venv, then .venv/bin/python3 -m pip install -r requirements.txt, then sh launch-kiosk.sh. For the standard installed workstation, use the same commands inside ~/.local/share/gameaction360-production-truck. Installing into an unrelated system Python will not repair the application's private environment.
