Operational reference for install in Soundboard.
Install
Requires Python 3.11+ including Tk and venv, Chrome/Chromium, and a graphical desktop with audio. macOS 13+; Linux kiosk mode requires X11. There are no pip playback dependencies in this release. On Ubuntu install Python venv/Tk and Chrome/Chromium using your normal software manager first.
Mac: open install-macos.command. Linux: run bash install-linux.sh. Open the installed Soundboard launcher or install/open from Workstation after the Hub administrator publishes its independent ZIP. VoiceShift and SoundBoard have separate app access. Connect the Workstation account or activate SoundBoard with its normal activation prompt. A valid app license is required.
The local control address is http://127.0.0.1:8915. app.py --no-browser supports Workstation desktop launch; kiosk_launch.py uses the common fullscreen browser. The app data directory is ~/.ga360-soundboard, outside installed code. Updates/rollback use the shared update_manager and Workstation mechanisms.
