Get the current install/update ZIP from Site Admin Studio → Application downloads. End OBS broadcasting/recording, then close this application and its kiosk supervisor. Open the separate GA360 Scoreboard Kiosk Updates desktop shortcut, choose the downloaded ZIP and paste the SHA-256 from Studio. Install, then relaunch. Ubuntu needs sudo apt-get install python3-tk for this window. The updater runs as the normal desktop user and does not appear in the customer kiosk UI.

For legacy installs, extract the new release and run python3 update_manager.py. It locates the standard per-user install. For portable/custom locations add --target /absolute/path/to/app. CLI: python3 update_manager.py --target /path/to/app --package /path/to/release.zip --sha256 HASH. Restore: python3 update_manager.py --target /path/to/app --rollback. Updates replace release-listed code only; local settings, credentials, .venv, OBS profiles, recordings, surveys and custom datasets remain. Existing bundled model files are release assets; keep custom trained models in the configured data directory. Unchanged dependency requirements reuse the installed environment; changed dependency releases require the full installer. No automatic updates or background update service are added.
