Linux local NDI discovery
Find NDI cameras now allows 12 seconds for the SDK to collect senders. On Linux it also resolves _ndi._tcp advertisements through Avahi and supplies those host IPs to the SDK. Only SDK-confirmed sender names are selectable. No subnet scan, source changes or firewall changes occur. Search can take up to 20 seconds; it remains isolated from live video. Empty results show Avahi/tool status and whether advertisements were visible. If local discovery support is missing, run sudo apt-get install avahi-daemon avahi-utils, then sudo systemctl enable --now avahi-daemon, as the local administrator. The release installer attempts this setup, with a visible warning if unavailable. A blocked/isolated network, mismatched NDI group/Discovery Server or disabled sender still needs correction; entering a known camera IP remains supported. Native SDK logging no longer invalidates the JSON result.
