Review and upload

Recordings are saved locally and survive application restart. An interrupted take can be recovered if its MP4 was finalized; an unfinalized MP4 may need external recovery. Each session includes video.mp4, atomic session.json, gps.jsonl when GPS was captured, a preview and camera diagnostics. Attach the measured file, inspect the video/landmarks and correct checkpoint times. Download local backups as needed.

Confirm alignment, then upload. Video streams from disk with progress; it is not loaded entirely into memory. A durable remote session ID and stable idempotency keys prevent duplicate sessions/deliveries during retries. Errors keep the local files and return the take to review. The collector limits video to 512 MB uploads; record shorter continuous sections. Local capture stops near 500 MB or eight hours and may require recovery/review at the limit.

Open the Sports Hub review link after upload. Course staff review the measured section/scale/reference, apply its elevation to the course, then publish the footage. Partial measured sections need a full-route elevation baseline. The measured section must match GPS route length within the existing 20% tolerance; Z is not stretched. Raw XYZ and source provenance are retained. Route edits invalidate video alignment; elevation updates alone preserve it.

Writes require Idempotency-Key; authentication is Authorization: Bearer ga360_…. Video upload uses multipart fields video, timeline (ga360.course-video.v1 JSON), optional measurements and JSON survey_options. Uploads go to review drafts; the collector cannot automatically publish or apply elevation through this endpoint. Configure the Hub proxy for at least 520 MB multipart bodies and a long upload timeout.
